3 Bedroom Condo in Isle of Palms

This condo is an end unit on the top floor. We also own the other top floor end unit in this same building (see VRBO #317081 to view that rental). Our condominium complex ("Dunescape") is located in the Front Beach area of the Isle of Palms and is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The building itself is located right next door to The Windjammer, a restaurant / bar that also serves as a live music venue with both indoor and outdoor performances.
The Dunescape complex is gated for privacy and features covered parking, an elevator, a gas grill and a swimming pool. Each Dunescape condo unit also provides a private, outdoor storage closet which allows guests to store beach and pool items that they may not want to carry to and store in the actual unit.
Our condo unit has ceramic tile flooring and plantation shutters throughout. Extensive molding and custom upgraded furnishings abound as well.
The living room is very spacious and has panoramic ocean views and direct access to the deck via a sliding glass door. It is furnished with a large sectional couch, with a double sleeper sofa built-in, which along with an accent chair offers plenty of seating space.
For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a 55" Samsung HD flat screen TV, a Samsung 1080p Blu-Ray DVD player, a Direct TV HD satellite receiver (with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime movie channels included) and a Sonos sound bar. All living room electronics are operated by a simple to use universal remote.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and it is ready for the gourmet cook, fully equipped with everything you need should you choose to eat in.
The dining room comfortably seats 6 around the table and provides additional seating for 3 at the kitchen bar. Both the kitchen and the dining room offer an ocean view as well.
The utility room adjacent to the kitchen features a full size washer and dryer.
There is heavy duty patio furniture on the large oceanfront deck which can be used for lounging or for oceanfront dining. The deck itself is very large and overlooks both the pool and the ocean.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed featuring the Simmons World Class mattresses for your comfort. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a 46'' Samsung HD flat screen TV, a Samsung 1080p Blu-Ray DVD player and a Direct TV HD satellite receiver (with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime movie channels included). Attached to this room is a large master bath with dual vanities, a jetted garden tub and a separate walk-in shower.
The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed featuring the Simmons World Class mattresses for your comfort. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a 46'' Samsung HD flat screen TV, a Samsung 1080p Blu-Ray DVD player and a DirectTV HD satellite receiver (with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime movie channels included). Attached to this room is a bath with a shower/tub combination.
The 3rd bedroom is furnished with a pyramid bunk bed system (twin over full) with an additional twin pull-out trundle bed available underneath. For your entertainment, it also comes furnished with a 32'' Samsung HD flat screen TV, a Samsung 1080p Blu-Ray DVD player and a DirectTV HD satellite receiver (with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime movie channels included). Attached to this room is a bath with a shower/tub combination.

Summary: We’ve stayed at this property three years in a row now and have always loved it but this was the first with this property manager. I received several marketing texts and emails from them but when it came time to get ahold of them for an issue it was very difficult. Many of the dishes in the apartment were dirty upon our arrival. The property manager claimed they would send us more dishwasher pods than the few that are provided on our first day there but they never did. Then two days later the dishwasher is showing an error message and not running. Hours after I messaged them they responded and said “someone should be by later to look at it”. No one ever came and there was no further follow the remainder of the trip. I was not planning on having to hand wash all of the dishes for the majority of my trip. Now we’re considering whether or not to book next years trip in the same unit or explore elsewhere.

Summary: great place to stay - concert next door one evening was a surprise that we enjoyed. We could sit on the balcony and had a great view. Works well for families. The big sectional sofa is so good for us.

Summary: Overall my family and I had a wonderful stay. The property was exactly as described. The unit is spacious and bright, and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. And the location was wonderful.

Summary: Very spacious and CLEAN condo with all of the necessary amenities. Bedrooms easily fit our friend-group of 5 and the 3 bathrooms made it easy to get ready each day. Mattresses were all very comfortable. The spacious open living/dining/kitchen was great for socializing. Appreciated the large and comfy couches for relaxing at night. The beach views from the patio were spectacular as was watching the sunrise and sunsets. Super easy beach access, and parking for 2 cars. Location was great, across from restaurants and shops easy to walk to. And a 30 min drive to Charleston. Would most definitely stay again!

Summary: This was every bit of what we were looking for from the gorgeous views to the updated interior and beautiful furniture. Only suggestion- get that master bed replaced. I see others have suggested it as well. The bed in the spare was perfect!

Summary: Small family trip to IOP! The unit was very clean and the location couldn’t have been better! We could walk to every where. There were a few items that needed to mended like door nobs falling off and blinds that were busted but other than that, it was a beautiful place

Summary: This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property but the first time in this specific unit. We loved how clean, updated, and quiet it was. We enjoyed one Windjammer concert from the balcony. It was over by 9:30 so plenty of time to get to sleep. We will definitely stay there again!
